We run an adult day provision (16+) for adults with a learning disability and/or autism and complex communication and sensory needs on during the week, weekends and school holidays. We offer a range of sensory activities such as sensory exploration, art and crafts, cooking and life skills. We also go on community trips. Our focus is on engagement, communication and independence. The provision is led by a qualified and experienced SEND teacher with extensive knowledge and training focused on autism and learning disabilities. She also has personal experience as her brother has similar needs to our young people.
We run our provision at Starbeck Methodist Church, 93 High Street, Starbeck, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG2 7LH.
